Jed

Certified Physician's Assistant

Jed is a graduate of Kettering Medical College with a Bachelor of Science degree and a certification of completion in Physician Assistant studies. He is certified by the Ohio State Medical Board and NCCPA. As a Physician Assistant, he works in conjunction with Dr Kemmler to provide care, both in the hospital and office setting. He first assists in surgical procedures and performs hospital consultations, postoperative examinations, and history and physical evaluations. He also administers injections, such as Synvisc, and applies casts/splints.

He has been a part of the medical community more than 12 years. Eight of those were spent as a respiratory therapist in both the Lima and Dayton communities. He is a native of Minster, where he currently resides with his family, and enjoys the opportunity to practice orthopaedics in Auglaize and Mercer Counties and the surrounding communities.

Chris

Worker's Compensation Liaison

Chris has been with Dr Kemmler and his team for more than ten years, and has been full time as workers' compensation coordinator for the past five years. Her duties include facilitating all communications between our patients, employers, managed care organizations, vocational rehabilitation managers, the Bureau or Workers' Compensation, and Drs Kemmler and Wehrley. She is also responsible for obtaining approval for all patient treatment, including injections, MRIs, CT scans, bone scans and surgical treatment as well as physical or occupational therapy.

Chris has set up company visitations for Dr. Kemmler, Dr. Wehrley and herself to gain knowledge of the company's day-to-day operations and to improve communications with the Human Resource Department and Safety Department. She is the representative to the Grand Lake Safety Council and currently serves on its steering committee for Kemmler Orthopaedic Center.

Chris brings her strong verbal and written communication skills to this position for KOC and for your benefit in your BWC/orthopaedic process.
